Authoring Tools
There are many different authoring tools available to designers; from simple code-based to complete WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). Most of the newer WYSIWYG designers provide options and helpers for accessibility. With each new version of software, more tools for designing for accessibility and validation are being integrated into major authoring packages. Each company has accessibility sections on their websites pertaining to the capabilities of their software, and, for the most up-to-date information, please check these sites to make an informed decision before using a program.
