The Academic Technology Grid Computing Service is a collection of computers across campus that have been pooled together to create a virtual super computer. It aims to harness the power of underutilized computing resources on campus for research and educational needs.
Using the Grid Computing Service, computations that require a large amount of computing power can be performed here on campus with a short delay on the return of the results instead of waiting for time on other supercomputing services.
