General Guidelines
The proposal must use the proposal template. The number of pages for the proposal must not exceed four pages, excluding the instruction pages. Fonts, margins and other elements of the template must not be altered. Proposals not meeting these requirements will not be considered.
Please make sure each of the items in the template is addressed. The recommendation by the evaluation committee on which courses are to receive the awards is final.
The focus of this initiative is undergraduate education. Courses of interest are those that can improve learning outcomes, have large student enrollment, help meet general education and Gordon rule requirements, have a potential to increase student enrollment, and can be taught over the summer in addition to the regular terms. Courses that demonstrate a potential for large benefit/cost on any combination of these factors will be given special consideration. Not all factors must be met for a successful award.
