What's Our Mission?

The Reading and Writing Center (RWC) is committed to helping University of Florida students become better writers and readers. We aim to support independent learning and encourage scholarship by fostering writing and reading skills. We provide individual assistance to those wishing to develop their writing, better understand the writing process, and improve reading comprehension and study skills. Students of all levels and disciplines are welcome!

Summer Hours : We are closed for summer break during the week of June 22 - 16. We will re-open for Summer B on Tuesday, 6/30. Our summer hours are M-F from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Free GRE Workshop: Our summer GRE workshop will take place during the first half of Summer B, on Mondays and Wednesdays, July 6th, 8th, 13th and 15th at 5:00 p.m. each day. The Verbal sessions will be the first week (7/6 & 7/8), and the Math sessions the second week (7/13 and 7/15). The workshop is free, and you are welcome to attend just the Verbal, or just the Math, or both. If you would like to attend, call 392-2010 to register and learn the location.
